Alan Hemsley
Our head PGA golf professional, Alan Hemsley, has a wealth of knowledge and over 30 years experience in providing expert tuition.
Alan is an accomplished player as well as first-class teacher. He finished sixth in the Seniors Club Pros Championship at Northampton County Golf Club in 2011 and has played in European Seniors Tour events.
Alan works exclusively at Barnham Broom and his adaptable, flexible teaching style will benefit players of all levels.

MattHEW Gardner
Matthew has been a member at Barnham Broom since 2000 and during this time has won a plethora of Junior awards both individually and with partners including the Norfolk Under 14, 16 and 18 championships.
Matthew joined the Barnham Broom Golf Team in 2004 and gained his PGA qualification whilst managing the Golf Shop.
He was the 2016 Norfolk PGA Professional Captain, representing Barnham Broom and the county national level events.
Matthew has a wealth of golfing knowledge having graduated in April 2015 with Professional Studies of Sports Science, Golf Coaching, Business Management Rules of Golf and Equipment and Technology.
Matthew has coached our Junior team for the past 3 years and his informal and relaxed approach will suit any golfer to learn golf or improve their game.

Ellie Brown
Ellie Brown is a fully qualified PGA Professional and England Golf Trust Youth Ambassador. She qualified from Birmingham University where she passed her exams in sports science, golf coaching, business management, rules of golf and equipment and technology with ease.
Ellie has been a member at Barnham Broom for over 10 years and is an outstanding golfer. Having trained with England squads, she has represented her club, county and country at a national level. She has been a former winner of the Norfolk ladies County Championship and won numerous amateur and professional competitions.
As much as Ellie is passionate about playing golf, she is dedicated to coaching and helping golfers of all ages and abilities to improve their game. Ellie's coaching is perfect for those who want to hone their golfing techniques as well as those who are new to the game of golf.
Ellie has an adaptable style of coaching, taking into account the individual needs of the client and their long term aspirations. She has a friendly, engaging and informative style of coaching and looks forward to working with both members and visitors alike.
