Our Junior Camps are great way for young people to get into golf.
Each session will be with our PGA Professionals, Alan and Ellie, and include tuition, games and fun competitions.
All equipment is provided at no extra charge.

Open to all Juniors aged 5-14 who want to learn to play or improve their golf. Our junior coaching program is taken by Alan Hemsley, our Head PGA Professional, and Ellie Brown, trainee PGA Professional.
Under the direction of our PGA Professionals, our Junior Academy offers an opportunity to learn all aspects of the game in a relaxed and supportive environment on our excellent practice facilities and Academy Course.
All equipment and range balls are provided along with prizes for the end of month fun competition.
Rachel Bradfield is our welfare officer and has been involved with the Academy for the past six years.

Open to all the family, these sessions include an introduction to the game on our excellent practice facilities under the direction of our PGA Professionals and the opportunity to play a few holes on our Academy Course.

Barnham Broom Junior Academy
Barnham Broom boasts one of the strongest Junior sections in Norfolk with over 45 members. The club has produced many County players, with 17 Juniors playing County golf to date.
The club runs a full fixture list of competitions including a Junior Open which is held in July each year.
Alan Hemsley our PGA Professional and our Junior organisers Steve Freestone & Jonathan Hinton run a successful coaching academy.
Coaching takes place every Saturday and we run two groups. The first group is between 12.30pm and 1.30pm and mainly consists of the younger children; the second group runs from 1.30pm to 2.30pm through the Summer months. From 1st November a single session will take place between 12.30pm – 2.00pm for those wishing to continue their tuition through the Winter.
It costs £15 to join the Academy and each session costs just £3.
